Caitlin, was born and raised in Clinton ON, a small rural community. At a young age she aspired to be a funeral director. To solidify these aspirations in her early years of high school,  Caitlin studied and researched the funeral profession and obtained a co-op position at her hometown funeral home. Learning a lot about the business and herself throughout this co-op position she felt called to follow this path in life. She attended the Funeral Services program at Humber College in Toronto. In 2007 she joined the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer family as an intern which lead to her success in graduating her college program and obtaining her Funeral Director’s License in 2008. In 2022, Caitlin became the Managing Funeral Director. 

She is proud to call Pembroke home along with her husband and their  2 children.

Marie-Josée is a bilingual licensed Funeral Director, graduate of Humber College Funeral Services. Marie was born and raised in Pembroke and went to School at Jeanne-Lajoie French Catholic High School. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family & friends and rejoices in the simple things life has to offer. She feels honoured to serve the families within her community and surrounding areas in their time of need.

Allen began working with Malcolm, Deavitt and Binhammer since November 2021. After graduating from the Humber College Funeral Pre-Planner Program, Allen became a Licensed Funeral Pre-Planner in February 2022. Allen started working in funeral service when he was 16 years old while attending Champlain High School in Pembroke and has previously worked with Malcolm, Deavitt and Binhammer and is currently working on obtaining his Class 1 Funeral Director’s License. Allen has a son Connor, who also resides in Pembroke. Allen enjoys golf, playing musical instruments and volunteering for the community. Allen is a past United Way Campaign Chair and a past board member of Missions Thrift Store. Allen is pleased to be a member of the Malcolm, Deavitt and Binhammer team and looks forward to serving the people of Pembroke and area in their time of need.
