Yvonne Delores Stalkie

STALKIE, Yvonne Delores – peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital, on Tuesday October 17, 2023 at the age of 95 years.  Royal Canadian Legion Br. 72 Associate member for 22 years.

Yvonne Stalkie (nee Dunne) of Pembroke, wife of the late Reg Hunt & late Don Stalkie and dear friend and partner of the late Paul Joensen. Beloved mother of the late Jim Hunt (Linda), Kathryn Hunt, Michael Stalkie (Joyce), Janis Stalkie (Terry), Richard Stalkie (Derek) and Bruce Stalkie (Mary). Cherished grandmother of Steven, Jael, Garth, Noah & Esther; Tara, Nathan & Colin and Cory as well as several great- grandchildren. Missed by several nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late Alvin & Violet Dunne (nee Parsons). Dear sister of June Simmons, late Doreen Dunne-Scully and late Neil Dunne.  

Memorial Visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a service in the chapel. Burial of the ashes in Wesley United Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke.
