Winston Rutledge

CWO (Ret'd) Rutledge, W.C., MMM, CD, passed away suddenly at home, on July 22, 2013 at the age of 71. Survived by his wife of 42 years Judith Rutledge (nee: Ranger); by his children Patricia Cameron (late Fred), Petawawa; Ricky (Andrea), England; and Shannon (Richard Tervo), Ottawa; and by his grandchildren Christopher, Terrilyn and Charlotte. Winston is also survived by his brothers Goldwyn, Doug and Howard; and sisters Dorothy, Mary, Thelma, Ada and Patsy, all of Nova Scotia. Predeceased by parents Earl and Effie (nee: Malay) and brothers Laurie, Raymond, Jim and Murray. Winston served 36 years in the military and was a dedicated and proud member of the 8th Canadian Hussars (Princess Louise's). Cremation has taken place and a reception will be held Sunday, July 28, 2013 from 2-4:00 p.m. at the Petawawa Legion.
