WARA, William Conrad Jr. (Willy) Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Saturday, August 16, 2008, in his 71st year. William Wara of Pembroke, beloved husband of Marilyn Wara (nee Clemo). Loving father of Karyn Wara (Darrell Belhumeur), Kanata; Nicholas Wara (Christine Gauthier), Pembroke; and Shannon Wara (Rob Gilchrist), Pembroke. Grandfather of Kyle Chevalier. Brother of Leonard Wara, Ottawa; Kenny Wara (Mary), Ingleside; and Brenda Coghlan (Michael), Ottawa. Son of the late William Sr. and Mary Wara (nee Antochi). Godfather of Erin Laws and loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Visitation at the MALCOLM, DEAVITT & BINHAMMER FUNERAL HOME, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke, on Tuesday from 7 to 9:00 p.m., and Wednesday from 2 to 4:00 and 7 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, August 21, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in St. Columba's Cemetery, Pembroke. Members of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 72 are requested to assemble at the Funeral Home for service on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. (In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated).
