William Lavoy

Lavoy, William (Bill) Passed away at home with his family by his side on Monday, February 29, 2016 at the age of 80. He loved a good laugh and a good game of golf, and was still courting his wife of 50 years, Bonita (nee Seigel). Bill leaves two sons, Rick and Kerry (Debbie nee Kaspardlov), 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Pre-deceased by parents John and Marion Lavoy and brothers Durward and Wilson. Survived by sister Edna Mackey (of McArthurs Mills). He worked 32 years for Bell Canada. A kind, patient and resourceful man, Bill enjoyed meeting new friends along the way. A Celebration of Bill's life with friends and family in his honour will be held at HAMILTON HALL, 148 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Saturday, March 5th, 2016 from 2 to 4:00 p.m. Arrangements by the MALCOLM, DEAVITT & BINHAMMER FUNERAL HOME, Pembroke.
