BURNETT, William Arthur (Art) Peacefully in hospital, Pembroke on Sunday, March 9th, 2008 at the age of 93 years. Art Burnett of 1024 Pembroke Street East and formerly of Beachburg, dearly loved husband and best friend of Alice Burnett (nee Stewart). Dear father of Patricia Fraser (husband Doug), Arnprior; Eleanor Pencharz (husband Paul), Toronto; Bill Burnett (wife Maureen), Pontypool. Papa to Susan (husband Chris), Nancy (fiancée Michael McCann) and Robert; Sarah, Jonathan, James (wife Farah); Barry (wife Jessica), Shauna (husband Thomas), Karla (husband Guy), Darren and Stuart and great-grandchildren Ellie, Gillian, Tierney, Declan, Genevieve, and Zoe. Son of the late James and Anne Burnett (nee Veitch). Brother of Ray Burnett (wife Ina), Pembroke. Predeceased by Douglas (wife late Sylvia), John (Jack) (wife late Hazel), Jean Davidson (husband late Wellie), Jeanette Edgar (husband late Robert), Roy (wife Jackie), North Bay. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Monday from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Service in the Chapel on Tuesday, March 11 at 11 a.m. Spring interment in Beachburg Union Cemetery (As an expression of sympathy, donations to the MS Society or the St. Andrew's United Church, Beachburg would be appreciated).
