BIRD, William Morgan Ivan "Bill" (WWII Veteran, retired transport truck driver and long time farmer who loved working with horses.) Passed away at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Thursday, May 14, 2009 at the age of 83 years. Bill Bird of Beachburg, beloved husband of 63 years to Helen Marion Bird (nee Fix). Proud father of Dan Bird (Jean), Morgan Bird (Barb), & Helen Robertson (Warren), all of Beachburg; Dorothy Campbell (Curry), Forresters Falls; Margaret Burke (Dave), Sudbury; Shirley Bird (Keith Gill), Eganville; and Tim Bird (Lise), Sudbury. Cherished Grandpa/Grandpa-dad of 16 grandchildren and Great-Grandpa of 13. Much loved brother of Leona, Phyllis, Shirley, Patricia, & Melvin. Predeceased by his parents John and Margaret Bird (nee Laroque), and by siblings Betty, Eldon, Dorothy, Eileen, George and Robert. By request there will be no visitation. A Funeral Service will be held in Beachburg Pentecostal Church on Monday, May 18, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Beachburg Union Cemetery.
