Willard Harold Schwantz

SCHWANTZ, Willard Harold – Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at the age of 78 years.

Willard Schwantz of Petawawa, beloved husband of Edwina Schwantz (nee Gilchrist).  Loving father of Brad (Tina), Amy and Holly Espinola (Colby).   Cherished grandfather of Jesse, Jenna (Brandon), Madison, Jacob, Lexie, Ellie, Benjamin, Ruby and great-grandfather of Brantley and Hannah.  Dear brother of Shirley Hampel (Terry).  Fond Uncle of Erin Hampel and Jenny Williams.  Predeceased by his parents Alfred and Alma Schwantz (nee Richter). 

Willard was an active member of both St. John’s Lutheran Church in Petawawa and presently St. Luke’s Anglican Church in Pembroke.

Visitation at Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Thursday from 6 to 9:00 p.m.   Funeral Service Friday at St. Luke’s Anglican Church at 11:00 a.m.   Interment St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Petawawa.  As an expression of sympathy, donations to St. Luke’s Anglican Church or St. John’s Lutheran Church, Petawawa appreciated.  Online condolences and donations are available at www.mbdfuneralhome.com.
