WATT, Welland Boyd Peacefully in hospital, Pembroke on Wednesday, October 3rd, 2007 at the age of 82 years. Welland Watt of 250 Christie Street, Pembroke, dearly loved husband of the late Jean Watt (nee Gayton). Dear father of Dianne Hannah (husband Mernie), Pembroke; Keith Watt (wife Carolyn), Pembroke; and Lawrence Watt (wife Pauline), Petawawa. Grandpa to Janey Black and Jody Hannah; Chad (wife Andrea), Tyler (Julie) & Adam Watt (wife Beverley); Kristen Wills (husband Ryan) & Robyn Watt. Great-grandfather to Larissa and Sheyanne Hannah; Mernie Lauzon, Hilary, Hailey and Hayden Black; and Charly Watt. Son of the late Robert & Lavina Watt (nee Code). Brother of Lois Bechamp, Pembroke; Betty Glen, Niagara Falls; Jack Watt, Pembroke; and Dick Watt, Matheson. Predeceased by sisters Pearl Debursey, Janet Bell and June Brindle; and brothers Raymond, Gordon and Lloyd Watt; Robert and Patrick Crosby. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Welland will be missed by his friend Geneva Wendt. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m.; and Saturday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Service in Calvin United Church on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. Interment in Calvin United/First Presbyterian Cemetery. (As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Ottawa Heart Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated). Members of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 72 are requested to assemble at the Funeral Home for service Friday at 7:30 p.m.
