PLATH, Weldon - It is with great sadness that the family of Weldon Plath announce his passing at Marianhill, Pembroke on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 in his 70th year. Weldon Plath of Pembroke, dearly loved husband of 50 years to Marilyn Plath (nee Thom). Beloved father of Kevin Plath (Karen) and Corwin "Corey" Plath (Lori). Predeceased by his dear daughter Sherri-Lynn Young. Survived by son-in-law Colonel Tim Young. Adored grandfather of Brittany & Stuart Young, Erika Emond and Nicholas & Benjamin Plath. Son of the late Norbert and Adeline Plath (nee Wiesenberg). Brother of Dorothy Guay (late Hugh), Diane Barns (Brian), and Conrad (Penny). Predeceased by siblings Walter (Elaine), Norbert Jr. (Michelle) and Frieda Ferris (late Gordon). Weldon will be sadly missed by the Thom family and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, Pembroke on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. Interment of ashes in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Pembroke.
