Went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, October 7, 2017 in his 93rd year.

Beloved husband of Verla (nee Seigel) of 61 years.  Loving father of Cheryl Kilby (Robert).  Proud grandfather to Alyssa.  Son of the late William and Mary Holtz (nee Nienkirchen).  Predeceased by brothers Urban, Mahlon, Wilbert, Newton, Norman, Eldad, Lester and sisters Ida Cotie and Loella Bartlett.  Welden is survived by brother Carson (Verena) and sister-in-law Margaret Holtz; brother-in-law Ken Seigel (Lois).  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Special thanks to the staff on 3B at Miramichi Lodge for their care and compassion during his time with them.

Visitation will take place at the Malcolm, Deavitt and Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.  A funeral service will take place Friday at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel.  For those desiring, donations to World Vision or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.  Online donations and condolences may be made at www.mdbfuneralhome.com
