Wayne Jeffery 'Jumper' Pfeiffer

Proudly served a dedicated career in the Canadian Armed Forces, known to his Airborne comrades as “Jumper”.

Passed away at his home on Sunday, February 16, 2025 at the age of 62 years.

Wayne Pfeiffer of Petawawa, devoted husband of 40+ years to Mary Pfeiffer (nee Collins). Steadfast father and hero of Jessica Pfeiffer (Blair), Jonathan Pfeiffer (Eliane) and predeceased infant son Jason. Caring Grandpa, with beaming adoration for his grandchildren, Sadie & Easton; and Tyson, Dominic, Zachary & Emma. Son of the late Wolfgang and Helen Pfeiffer (nee Ferguson). Beloved son-in-law of the late John “Scotty” and Jutta Collins. Brother of Rick, Shelley (DJ & Ashley), Chuck and the late Joe. Wayne will be lovingly missed by brothers & sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, friends, neighbours and comrades.

Wayne once quoted: “Death becomes us all, in the end all you have is your Honour/Dignity and Love of Family. That’s all.“

Honouring Wayne’s specific instructions, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 517, 3583 Petawawa Blvd., Petawawa on Sunday, March 9, 2025 starting at 1:00 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations to C.H.E.O. or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
