CANNIFF, Warren Thomas
(Major 3rd Signals Regiment Ottawa, Veteran WWII, Retired Supervisor at Ottawa Hydro for over 40 years) - Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at his home on Wednesday, April 25, 2007 in his 89th year.
Warren Canniff of Pembroke and formerly of Ottawa, beloved husband of the late Marjorie Canniff (nee Lewis). Dearly loved father of Dr. Wayne Canniff (wife Leanne), Beachburg. Cherished poppa of Sandi; Sean; Ryan (Kelly); Melissa (fiancé Mark); and Corey (Rebecca). Brother of Dorothy Olive (husband George), Vernon, BC. Predeceased by sister Norma Grand (late husband Ted) and brother Doug Canniff. Survived by sister-in-law Shirley Canniff, Ottawa. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Thursday from 2-4:00 & 7-9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon. Funeral Service will be held in St. Andrew's United Church, Beachburg on Friday, April 27, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. followed by cremation. Interment of cremated remains in the family plot in Beachburg Union Cemetery at a later date.
