BROWN, Warren Albert
Thanks to the dedicated care and genuine affection from the staff at the Country Haven Retirement Home, Beachburg, Warren was able to pass away peacefully in familiar surroundings on Wednesday, September 12th, 2007 at the age of 54 years.
Predeceased by his parents Anna (nee Warren) and Basil Brown and sister Catherine (Carl) Walker. Although afflicted with numerous medical challenges for most of his life, Warren had a sharp wit and maintained his sense of humor and goodwill throughout. He will be very sadly missed by his best friend Hartley Williams. His sister Ida (Ed) Gardiner will miss placing her nightly phone call to Warren to get the "Country Haven Supper Report". Warren is also survived by his nieces Christie (Dan) Reitsma, Rhonda (Matthew) McNish and Shayna Gardiner; his nephews Lanny Walker and Jamie Gardiner; his great-nieces Summer and Sunshine Reitsma; his great-nephews Gunner Reitsma; Matthew, Ty and Shane McNish. The family would like to thank all the staff and residents of Country Haven for their kindness and Drs. Good and Baxter for their steadfast care.
Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m.; and Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. Service in the Chapel on Saturday at 11 a.m. Interment in the Point Presbyterian Cemetery, Lake Dore. (In memory of Warren's love for fishing, donations to the Canadian Wildlife Federation would be greatly appreciated).
