Wanda Meilleur

Meilleur, Wanda Leita - passed away peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Friday, January 15, 2021 in her 84th year. Wanda Meilleur (nee Wilson) of Pembroke, mother of Vern Marion, Celesta Marion, Heather Kalmakoff (David), James Brown (Sue) and the late Robert Brown (late Linda).  Grandmother of Charity & Melissa; Daniel; Christopher; Lucas & the late Travis; and James Jr. & April.  Daughter of the late Maurice & Muriel Wilson (nee Waite).  Predeceased by sisters Gloria Lisk & Merle Cannon (Robert), and brother Vern Wilson.  Wanda will be fondly remembered by many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Wanda was known and loved in the community for her dedicated service as a taxi driver, a singer who enjoyed sharing her talents with others, and a smiling face at Miramichi Lodge. Respecting the family’s wishes during the pandemic, cremation has taken place.  A private interment of ashes will take place at a later date.  Arrangements entrusted to the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke.
