Walter Murray

MURRAY, Walter George - suddenly at Pembroke on July 15, 2017.

Walter was the son of Lennox Arthur John Murray and Elsie Noreen Rains Murray, both predeceased.  He is survived by four sisters and their families:  Elizabeth Northover (late Wallace), Edith Kelly (Norm), Lenore Scott (Craig) and Lorna Murray as well as nephews Jesse Scott (Mirae) and Alexei Northover (Emily).  Also survived by many relatives in the Murray and Rains clans.

Son of a military family, Walter grew up in several Canadian locations and worked and travelled across Canada as an adult, finally settling in Pembroke.  Walter will be sorely missed by friends and family across Canada.

A Graveside Service will be held at St. Columba's Cemetery, Pembroke on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at 3:00 p.m.  Arrangements entrusted to Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke.
