HIGHTOWER, Walter Henry - passed away peacefully at the Ottawa General Hospital on Monday, May 13, 2013 in his 83rd year. Walt Hightower of Pembroke, beloved husband of the late Laura Hightower (nee Bowes). Dear father of Drew Hightower (Jo Ann), Ottawa; Elizabeth Hightower (Gerard Bourque), Ottawa; and Sharon Clifton (Ben), Trenton. Gramps to Meghan (Mike) & Cale; Rebecca; and Tanya & Karolann; as well as great-grandson Korben. Son of the late Walter and Agnes Hightower (nee Collins). Brother of Ken Hightower, Vancouver; and predeceased by brothers Jim & Roy. Visitation at the MALCOLM, DEAVITT & BINHAMMER FUNERAL HOME, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Friday from 2 to 4:00 and 7 to 9:00 p.m., and Saturday after 9:30 a.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 11:00 a.m., followed by cremation.
