HAMMEL, Wallace Robert Peacefully at Marianhill, Pembroke on Friday, December 23, 2011 at the age of 75 years. Wallace Hammel of Pembroke, dearly loved husband of Betty Hammel (nee Rosien). Dear father of Wayne Hammel, Napanee; Elaine Graham (Mark), Powassan; Jean Shier (Dale), Deep River; and Murray Hammel (Tracey), Arnprior. Grandfather to Jenny, Greydon & Aaron Hammel; Sarah Burleigh (Don) & Mitchell Graham; Amanda, Kaila & Andrew Shier; and Bradley Hammel. Great-grandfather to Kyson Burleigh and Riley Ines. Son of the late Christian and Martha Hammel (nee Stencill). Brother of Earl Hammel, Pembroke. Predeceased by brother Garnet Hammel and sister Lois Desjardins. Visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 . Funeral Service will be held at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Alice on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Spring Interment at St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Alice.
