HAMILTON, Violet May Peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Friday, October 15, 2010 at the age of 92 years. Violet Hamilton (nee Woermke) of RR #3 Pembroke and formerly of Madawaska, wife of the late Arthur Hamilton and by first marriage the late James Young. Predeceased by sons Eldon Young (wife Loretta), Pembroke; Garry Young (wife Elaine), Madawaska; Brian Young; and step-son Robert Hamilton. Step-mother to Glen Hamilton (wife Liane), Petawawa. Grandma Violet to Bradley Young (wife Connie), Pembroke; Roger Young (wife Kristan), Oshawa; Laura Charles (husband Tom), Pembroke; George Young (Dyanne), Madawaska; Luanne Hilderbrandt (husband Charles), Madawaska; and Peter Young (wife Tanielle), Madawaska. Also survived by several great-grandchildren. Daughter of the late George and Alvina Woermke (nee Mundt). Predeceased by brothers Clarence (late Stella), Lorne (Ellen), and Roy (Gwen) Woermke. Respecting Violet's wishes there will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held at St Paul's & St. James' United Church, Madawaska on Saturday, October 23 at 11:00 a.m. Interment of ashes in the St. Paul's & St. James' United Cemetery, Madawaska.
