DUNNE, Violet Florence (nee Pigeon) In Marianhill, Pembroke on Friday, September 2nd, 2005 at the age of 97 years. Violet Dunne (nee Pigeon) of Round Lake, wife of the late Alvin J. Dunne. Dear mother of Yvonne Stalkie (husband late Don), Pembroke; Neil Dunne, Round Lake; Doreen Dunne-Scully (husband Carl), Pembroke; and June Simmons (husband late Barry Bray), Pembroke. Granny to 19 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren. Daughter of the late Thomas and Florence Pigeon (nee Chapeskie). Sister of Angelo Pigeon (wife Margaret), Verner, Ontario; and Patricia Simourd, Schumacher, Ontario. Predeceased by brothers Alex, Jack, William, Archie, Martin, Frank, Lawrence, Raymond and Charles Pigeon; and sisters Margaret Fraser, Dorothy Eden, and Maymie Coulas. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, l4l Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Service in Calvin United Church on Monday September 5th at 11 a.m. Interment in Calvin United Cemetery.
