THRASHER, Viola Elsie Peacefully in hospital, Pembroke on Friday May 6th, 2005 at the age of 76 years. Viola Thrasher (nee Raglin) of 314 Julien Street, Pembroke, wife of the late Walter Thrasher. Dear mother of Jerry Thrasher (wife Suzanne), Ottawa; Judy Thrasher, Victoria, B.C.; Robert Thrasher (wife Lise), Chapeau, Que.; Brenda Buske (husband Kevin), Pembroke; and Stephen Thrasher (wife Nancy), Ottawa. Nanny to Adam and Reid Thrasher; Sara and Jeffrey Bose, Ryan Thrasher, Matthew and Melissa Buske, and Sherry Lemke. Daughter of the late Edward and Hilda Raglin (nee Hoffman). Sister of Lila Silke (husband Alfred), Petawawa; and Inez Leroux (husband Harvey), Pembroke. Predeceased by brothers Edgar Raglin (wife late Gladys), and Arnold Raglin. Sister-in-law to Lindsay Thrasher (wife Martha), Betty Rowe (husband Everett) and Ken Thrasher (wife Marilyn), all of Pembroke. Predeceased by brother-in-law Lesley Thrasher (wife late Laura); and sister-in-law Sue Demers (husband Jack), Pembroke. Dear friend to the late Foster Josey. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, l4l Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Service in Calvin United Church, Pembroke on Monday at 11 a.m. Interment in Calvin United Cemetery.
