BIESENTHAL, Victor (Veteran WWII) Passed away peacefully in Marianhill on Thursday, January 26th, 2006 at the age of 86 years. Victor Biesenthal, formerly of RR#4 Pembroke beloved husband of Frieda Biesenthal (nee Zoschke). Dear father of Linda Biggs (late husband Myles), Pembroke and Greg Biesenthal (wife Annie) also of Pembroke. Grandpa to Melanie Zadow (husband Dean), Pembroke and James States (wife Krista), Douglas. Great-grandpa to Hilary & Riley. Brother to Flora Mau (late husband Adolph), Pembroke. Predeceased by brothers Elmer, Walter, Elvin, & infant Herbert and sisters Frieda Mau & Jeanetta Hammel. Survived by sisters-in-law Mabel Biesenthal and Emma Fox, both of Pembroke. The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the staff of Marianhill for their professional and caring service. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Saturday from 2 until 4:00 and 7 until 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in Grace Lutheran Church, Locksley on Sunday, January 29th, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. Interment in Grace Lutheran Cemetery. Members of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 72 Pembroke are requested to assemble at the funeral home on Saturday evening at 7:30 for a service.
