WOITO, Verna Maria – passed away peacefully at Miramichi Lodge on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at the age of 91 years.
Verna Woito (nee Keuhl) of Rankin, beloved wife of the late Garnet Woito. Loving mother of Heather Oszmian (Steve), Myles Woito (Rae Ann) and Mark Woito. Cherished grandma of Ryan, Christopher & Adam (Andrea) Oszmian; Jenna Dumouchel (Steve), Kirsten Doering (Ben), Scott Woito (Kyrie Gustar) and Nicole Woito (Tanner Goldberg). Great-grandmother to Drake, Avery, Mara, Drew, Raya & Tye. Predeceased by daughter Deborah, parents John and Viola Keuhl (nee Drefke), brothers John (Linda), Harold (Wendy), Allan (late Elvira), Cameron (Geraldine), Eldon (late Ethel), Erhart (Evelyn), Mervin (Beatrice). Survived by sister Elaine Kregur (late Harry) and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Friday, July 14 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Funeral Service on Saturday, July 15 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Woito Station at 11:00 a.m. Interment in the parish cemetery. A reception will be held at the Rankin Culture and Recreation Centre, 20 Rankin Rink Rd, Pembroke. Arrangements entrusted to Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke.
