Zadow, Vera Ella (nee Hampel) 1928-2018

On Wednesday, July 25, 2018 in Marianhill our dear Vera received her angel wings and heard the words “Well done thou good and faithful servant”.

Beloved wife of the late Richard Zadow.  Dear mother of Elaine (Greg) Gray and Karen (Graham) Borley.  Proud grandmother of Carrie Gray (Christian Palavicino), Amanda Gray (Jesse Mercier), Deanna Gray (Ethan Wunsch), Aimee Demers (Simon Proulx) and Michael (Tina) Demers.  Loving great grandmother of Abigael, Callie, Matix, Kowan, Kylan, Dane, Edan, Etienne and Hannah.  Daughter of the late George and Ella (nee Gust) Hampel.  Sister of the late Beverly (the late Clarence) Burchart and Carolyn (the late Jim) Hamilton.  She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews.  Special thanks to the staff at Marianhill for their love, care and compassion.

Visitation will take place at the Malcolm, Deavitt and Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke on Saturday, July 28 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  A funeral service will take place in Zion Lutheran Church, Pembroke on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. followed by interment in Zion Lutheran Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Zion Lutheran Church or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.  Online donations and condolences may be made at www.mdbfuneralhome.com.
