Nitschke, Vera - (Retired co-owner of the V & E Shop) Peacefully in hospital, Pembroke on Tuesday, January 23rd, 2007 at the age of 86 years. Vera Nitschke (nee Rutz) of 679 Boundary Road, Pembroke, wife of the late Edward Nitschke. Predeceased by infant son Kevin, son Warren and his wife Nancy, and grandchildren Cheryl and Brian. Daughter of the late Charles & Johannah Rutz (nee Behm). Predeceased by brothers Herb, Ben, Art & Alex Rutz and sister Alma Rutz. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Service in Zion Lutheran Church on Friday, January 26th at 11 a.m. Spring interment in Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
