Theresa Reina Rose Markus

MARKUS, Theresa Reina Rose – passed away at Marianhill on Sunday, April 2, 2023 in her 91^st year.

Theresa Markus (nee Godin) of Pembroke, beloved wife of Martin “Marty” Markus in their 70^th year of marriage.  Loving mother of Larry and Karen (Chris Marion), both of Pembroke.  Daughter of the late Henry and Marie Godin (nee Beaupre). Predeceased by siblings Art Godin, Eugene Godin, Alice Giroux (Tessier), Adam Godin, Louis Godin, Henry Godin, Laura Theriault and Irene Godin. Survived by sister-in-law June Godin, and several nieces & nephews. Loved by 6 Godchildren.

Visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Monday, April 10, 2023 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 357 Miller St., Pembroke on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. preceded by visitation from 10-10:45 a.m. Spring interment in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Pembroke.  As an expression of sympathy, donations to St. John’s Lutheran Church Memorial Fund or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
