Saar, Theodore William Reinhart (Ted) Passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 in his 90th year. Ted Saar of R.R.#4 Pembroke, beloved husband of Mabel (Mae) Saar (nee Kruger) and by his first marriage the late Marian Saar (nee Bruce). Dear father of Michael Saar (wife Heather), Pembroke; Marlene Tippett, Deep River; and Paula Saar (Phillip), Surrey, B.C. Step-father to Gerry Scheer (wife Suzanne), Eganville and Elaine Seigel (husband Stephen), Pembroke. Grandfather to Greg and Jeff Saar, Pembroke; Billy Joe Tippet (Amy), Pembroke; Ben, Emily and Luke Scheer, Toronto and Laurie Seigel of Ottawa. Great-grandfather to Ethan & Mila. Predeceased by grandson Christopher Seigel. Son of the late Arnold and Louise Saar (nee Sack). Brother of Arthur Saar (wife Lillian), Nepean, Vern Saar (late wife Joan), Pembroke and Marie Saar, Shady Nook. Survived by his nieces & nephews. Visitation at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Service in Grace Ev.
