HALPENNY, Teresa Violet Passed away peacefully in the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Monday, July 13, 2009 in her 80th year. Teresa Halpenny (nee Vaudrie) of Pembroke, beloved wife of the late Theodore A. "Ted" Halpenny. Dearly loved mother to Kenneth Halpenny (Helen), Ottawa; Steven Halpenny (Sandra), Pembroke; and Michael Halpenny (Jane), Metcalfe. Sadly missed by grandchildren Jeffrey, Ryan, Matthew & Joshua. Sister of Mae Sauve (late Nelson); Eileen Firlotte (late Dwayne); Shirley King (Bob); George Vaudrie (Muriel); and Joanne Tryon (Bob). Predeceased by Dave (Sonny) Vaudrie (Lorraine) & Patsy Choquette. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and her brothers & sisters-in-law. Daughter of the late David & Ida Vaudrie (nee Brazeau). Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Wednesday 7-9 p.m. and Thursday 12-2 p.m. Prayers of Funeral Liturgy in the Chapel on Thursday at 2 p.m. Interment in Wesley United Cemetery with a reception to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 72, Pembroke. Members of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 72 Ladies' Auxilliary are requested to assemble at the funeral home on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. for a service.
