Sue Ann Mary Rantz

January 3, 1944 — October 17, 2024

With great sadness, we announce the passing of Sue Ann Mary Rantz (McGrath), surrounded by her loving family, after a lengthy illness and courageous battle.

Dearly loved by her husband of 61 years, Richard Rantz; and her children, Debra (Michael Blanchfield), Richard (Brenda) and Jennifer. Devoted grandmother of Megan Rantz, and Dylan and Alex Moore.

Daughter of the late Alda McGrath (Langevin) and the late Henry McGrath. Dear sister of the late Lawrence McGrath, the late Michael McGrath (Mary), Colleen Turcotte (Terry) and Virginia Shiels. Dear sister-in-law of Robert (Pauline) and Donald (Nancy).

Dearly missed by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Many thanks to the staff at Forest Hill in Kanata for their exemplary and compassionate care.

Sue is remembered as a kind and generous person who always put the needs of others above her own. Family meant everything to her.

A private family committal of ashes to occur at St. John’s Lutheran Church.

Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Sue’s Life on Saturday, November 2, 2024 from 2 to 4 pm at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 605 Black Bay Road, Petawawa, Ontario.
