VANDERVELDE, Stanley (Sipke) Suddenly at his home, Pembroke, on Thursday, March 22, 2012 in his 82nd year. Stanley (Sipke) VanderVelde of Pembroke, loving husband of Jantina VanderVelde (nee Drent). Devoted father of Marilyn DeHaan (formerly Wilson), Pembroke; Grace Collins (Brian), Chalk River; Sharon Morgan (Dan), Lethbridge, AB; and Melinda DenHaan (Theodore), Middleton, NS. Cherished Grandpa to 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Brother to Jacob VanderVelde (Tina); Adam VanderVelde (Anneke); Froukje DeBoer (late Jasper); and Greet Kasperink (late Garret). Visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke on Sunday from 2-4:00 and 7-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Zion Christian Reformed Church, Pembroke on Monday, March 26 at 1:00 p.m. Interment in Beachburg Union Cemetery.
