TESCHNER, Sonja Astrid Suddenly in hospital, Pembroke on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at the age of 72 years. Sonja Teschner (nee Jike) of 49A East Street, Petawawa, dearly loved wife of the late Stanley Teschner. Dear mother of Kimberly Weaver (husband Stephen), Egypt; William (Bill) Teschner (wife Debrah), Pembroke; Karen Mulvihill (husband Jeff), Carleton Place; and Susan Perkins (husband Lance), Petawawa. Gramma to Galen and Maud Weaver; Keenan and Shawna Teschner; Isabelle and Madeline Mulvihill; William and Aiden Perkins. Predeceased by infant grandson baby Weaver. Daughter of the late Victor and Astrid Jike (nee Benson). Sister of Ronnie Johnson, Pembroke; Doris Hisco (late Norman), Winnipeg; Katherine Kelly (late Ray), Pembroke; and Lula Berard (late Ambrose), Pembroke. Predeceased by Russell Jike (wife Joyce), Toronto. Alice Dufrense (late Leo), Elsie Houghton (late Fred), and Victor Jike Jr. (late Helen). Survived by several nieces and nephews. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.; and Wednesday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Service in the Chapel on Wednesday, August 17th at 11 a.m., followed by cremation and interment in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Pembroke.
