Sheila Rae Brown

BROWN, Sheila Rae – passed away peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital with her loving family by her side on Saturday, August 29, 2020 in her 73rd year.

Sheila Brown (nee Wilson) of Pembroke, leaves behind her husband and best friend of 54 years Ken Brown and her loving children Jeff Brown (Kelly) and Julia Brown (Geoff).  She was an amazing nanny to 3 grandchildren: Sierra Birney, Matthew Brown and Erin Brown.  Predeceased by her parents Rae Dougherty (late Ross) and Morris Wilson.  Dear sister-in-law to Terry Brown (Jude).  She will also be missed by her step-brothers & sister Colleen Lambert (Jack); Dave Dougherty (late Peggy) and Merv Dougherty (Janey).  Sheila will be missed by all her nieces, nephews, family and dear friends.  She was a former employee of the PRH, special thank you to all of the doctors and nurses for all of their care.

Respecting Sheila’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  A private family graveside service will be held at Beachburg Union Cemetery.  Arrangements entrusted to the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke.  As an expression of sympathy, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.  Online donations/condolences are available at www.mdbfuneralhome.com.
