Sandra Ellen de Ruiter

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sandra de Ruiter (nee Ramsey) at the age of 64 at the Ottawa Civic Hospital on 29 March. Loving wife of Gert de Ruiter for almost 48 years, amazing mom to Dean (Kim), Jason (Tara) and Derek (Laura) and incredible Nan to Jacob, Mackenzie, Hali, Amelia, Ruby, Quintin and Kaden. She is pre-deceased by her parents George and Bernice Ramsey and will be greatly missed by her brother Larry (Eleanor), her sister Shelley (Doug), her large extended family and her close circle of friends. Respecting Sandra's wishes a private family service will take place at a later date. Donations appreciated to the Ottawa Hospital Foundation.
