O'BRIEN, Sadie Dorothy Peacefully in Miramichi Lodge, Pembroke on Tuesday, December 13th, 2011 at the age of 97 years. Sadie O'Brien (nee Commins), formerly of Rowan Street, Pembroke, dearly loved wife of the late Foster O'Brien. Daughter of the late George and Ruth Commins (nee McAlpine). Dear sister of Joyce St. Arnaud (late Jules), Red Deer, Alberta. Predeceased by sister Margaret Prill (Clifford), Sylvan Lake, Alberta; and by brothers George (Hildur), Harold (late Norma), and infant brother Edward Commins. Predeceased by sister-in-laws Winnifred O'Brien and Clara Risto; and brothers-in-law Rev. J. C. O'Brien and Esmond O'Brien. Predeceased by her step-daughters Ruth, Gladys and Marion. Sadie was a special aunt to Heather, Robert, Jeffery, Jim, David, Bill, Carolyn, Sharon, late Shirley, late Ron (wife Carol), Paul, Dianna, Janice, Marie, Clifton, Rev. Calvin O'Brien, Gordon, their spouses and families,. Survived by step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Service in the Pembroke Pentecostal Tabernacle on Tuesday, December 20th at 11 a.m. Interment in the Pembroke Pentecostal Cemetery.
