Ruth MacKinnon

MACKINNON, Ruth Mary - passed away peacefully at Miramichi Lodge, Pembroke on Sunday, July 14, 2019 at the age of 92 years.

Ruth MacKinnon (nee McGarvey) of Petawawa, wife of the late James MacKinnon. Cherished mother of Beth Bailey (Bruce), Petawawa. Dear Gran to Erin Arsenault (Terry), Pembroke and Matthew Bailey (Patti), Petawawa. Adored G.G to Jacob, Ben, Nickolas & Kennedy Arsenault; Sierra, Ethan & Emily Bailey. Predeceased by brother Jim McGarvey (Margaret) and sisters Lillian Thompson (late Bud), Oregon and  Eleanor Steinke (late Floyd). Sister-in-law to Archie MacKinnon (late Gene, Catherine), Agnes MacKinnon (late George) and Marg MacKinnon (late Alan). Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Respecting Ruth’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Tuesday, August 6 from 9:30-10:45 followed by a memorial service in the chapel at 11:00 a.m.  Interment of ashes in Wesley United Cemetery.
