SCHROEDER, Rudvin Rudolph Passed away peacefully at the Shawville Hospital on Monday, January 5, 2009 in his 76th year. Rudvin Schroeder of Pembroke, beloved husband of Geraldine Schroeder (nee Wilson) and by first marriage the late Lois Schroeder (nee Papkie Brodofske). Dear father of Orval Brodofske (Bonnie), Cambridge; Susan Wallace, Pembroke; Steven Schroeder (Tracey), Kinburn; and Lyndon Schroeder (Angie), Pembroke. Step-father of Rheal Chartrand (Diane), Jacqueline Riel (Paul), Gisele Chartrand, and Daniel Chartrand (Amanda). Grandfather of Terry Brodofske (Chrissy), and Henry Brodofske (Tamara); Genny Johanneson (late Jon), and Tyler Wallace (Michelle); Dylan Schroeder; and Christien, Nicole, Amanda, Corey, Cole, and Isaac. Great-grandfather to Logan, Ashley, Lorena, Amee and Andrew. Dear brother of Cyril (Rosie), Hanmer; Harold (Adrienne), Arthur; Russell (Norma), Pembroke; Mona Zadow (late Milton), Pembroke; and Gladys Priebe (Wayne), Lake Dore. Predeceased by brothers Stanley (Beatrice), Pembroke; Ranous (Judy), Eganville; Milton (Donna), Pembroke, and infant brother Wilfred. Son of the late Ernest and Myrtle Schroeder (nee Day Ristau). Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Visitation at the MALCOLM, DEAVITT & BINHAMMER FUNERAL HOME, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Wednesday from 2 to 4:00 and 7 to 9:00 p.m. and Thursday from 9:30 - 12:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in St. John's Lutheran Church, Pembroke, on Thursday, January 8, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Spring interment in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Pembroke.
