Ronald WILSON

WILSON, Ronald (R.J.) Peacefully at his home on the Petawawa River on Sunday, February 28th, 2010 at the age of 82 years. Ron Wilson of Petawawa, dearly loved husband of 59 years to Vivian Wilson (nee Anderson). Dear father of Jeri-Ann Morrison (Larry), Kitchener; Christopher Wilson (Carolyne), Ottawa; T. Michael Wilson (Joan), Kingston; Patricia Brown (Gerry), Ottawa; and Angela Robichaud (Gerald), Meteghan River, N.S.. Grandpa Ron to 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Ron was born in Ottawa at the old Grace Hospital, lived in Pembroke, joined the Navy in 1942 at the age of 15 and served overseas before returning home in 1946. Ron spent many years working at Base Petawawa as Housing Officer before retiring in 1992. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held in the Petawawa Presbyterian Church on Saturday, March 13th at 2 p.m. Interment of ashes in the Ramsayville Cemetery, Ottawa later in the spring.
