Roland Junop

JUNOP, Roland Milton - passed away peacefully at the St.Thomas Elgin General Hospital, on Wednesday, November 26 at the age of 79. Roland "Rollie" Junop, of Golden Lake, son of the late Henry & Barbara Junop (nee Bates). Dear brother of Helen (Bruce) Karel, Kingston. Predeceased by brother Morley (Florence) Junop, London. Loved by many nieces and nephews. Roland always enjoyed the outdoors. He was an exceptional example of contentment. He had a strong commitment to community service with over 50 Red Cross blood donations and many years serving the local township and fire department. Roland will be remembered for his generous donations to fire departments, nursing homes and hospitals. Family and friends are invited to a small graveside memorial service at the Golden Lake United Cemetery on Saturday, December 20th, at 2:00 p.m.
