Robin David Weisenberg

With broken hearts, the family of Robin David Weisenberg share his unexpected passing on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 in his 67th year. 

Rob Weisenberg of Mattawa, formerly of Petawawa, is the cherished partner and best friend of Helene Demers. A lovingly devoted father, to whose pride and joy were his 4 children, Nick (Lindsay) of Ashton; Lexi (Adam Clouthier), Dustin and Matt, all of Petawawa. Proud Grandpa, self-proclaimed as “Papa Doc” to Lukas, who will forever cherish one of Rob’s custom crafted toy boxes along with other personalized mementos. Beloved son of Caroline Weisenberg-Walsh (Pat Walsh) and the late Eric Weisenberg. Dear brother of the late Mark, Karen Calder, Dale (Joyce), and Terry. Uncle Rob to Dana, Erika, and Sage. Rob will be missed by Helene’s children Catherine Tosh of North Bay; Monelle Riopel of Timmins; and Richard Riopel of Kirkland Lake; and grandchildren Troy & Brady, they all loved Robin so very much, he instantly fulfilled his roll as stepfather & grandfather. 

Rob was a passionate woodcraftsman, kitchen connoisseur and could be found working in the produce department at the Mattawa Foodland. His dedication to his family and closest friends is unmeasurable. He will be forever loved and missed by so many. 

Private family arrangements have been entrusted to the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home. In honour of Rob, donations to the Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated.
