RITCHIE, Robert Mitchell (Retired Sergeant - Pembroke Police Force) (Retired Sergeant - Pembroke Police Force) Passed away peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Sunday, July 15, 2012 at the age of 83 years. Robert Ritchie of Pembroke, predeceased by his loving wife Helen Ritchie (nee McLaren) and his dear granddaughter Cailin Gallagher. Dearly loved father of Sherry Ritchie, Bonnie Gallagher (Michael) and Randy Ritchie (Linda). Proud Papa of Taryn Gallagher (Jordan); Josh Grant & Alia Grant (Ryan); and great-granddaughter Arayah-Lynn. Also predeceased by his sisters Nancy Hill & Sheila Fetterly. Left to mourn are nieces and nephews, as well as many friends. Robert was a lifetime member of the Pembroke Legion Branch 72. By request, there will be no visitation. Memorial Service will be held at Wesley United Church, Pembroke on Friday, July 20, 2012 at 12:00 noon. Interment of Ashes in Wesley United Cemetery, Pembroke.
