ANDERSON, Robert Allan Passed away peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Monday, February 2, 2009 in his 78th year. Robert Anderson of Pembroke, husband of the late Dorothy Anderson (nee Stewart). Dear father of Linda Baillie (Denis), Egmont, BC; Kathryn Bennett (Steve), Pembroke; Betty Anderson (Carl), Pembroke; and Stewart Anderson (Anne-Marie), Pembroke. Devoted grandfather of Lindsey (Jason), Phillip (Jose), Michael, and Haleigh Bennett; Natasha (Jason), Jillian (Sean), and Mallorie Chartrand; Mitchell Anderson and adorable great-grandchildren Lily and Chase. Brother of Helen McGillis (late Carson), Edmonton, AB; Doris Bell (late Wally), Pembroke; Betty Kehoe (Del), Kingston; and Marion Richardson (late Bill), Toronto. Predeceased by brother Andy Anderson (late Dot), and by sisters Nancy Hobart (Jack), Peterborough; and Elaine Richardson (late Stu). Son of the late Wilfred and Annie Anderson (nee Weinholdt). Predeceased by brothers and sisters-in-law Charles Stewart (Leona); Peter Stewart (Olive), Douglas Stewart (Betty), G.W. (Bill) Stewart, James Stewart (late Fay), Lillian Holt (late Ray); Ellen Armstrong (late William), and Stewart C. Devlin. Survived by sister-in-law Laura Devlin Sneddon (James), Deep River. Much loved and missed by many nieces, nephews, Silver, Boots and Buffy. Respecting Robert's wishes, there will be no visitation. Cremation. A Memorial Service will be held in Greenwood United Church on Friday, February 6, 2009 at 11 a.m. Spring Interment of ashes in Greenwood United Cemetery.
