Richard Douglas Hubert

HUBERT, Richard Douglas – passed away peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Friday, November 3, 2023, at the age of 87 years. 

Richard Hubert of Pembroke, beloved husband of Marion Hubert (nee Waito). Special father to the late Wendy Fiendel (Tom). Special grandpa to Curtis Fiendel, Chantel Fiendel-Robinson and Douglas Fiendel as well as their children. 

Dearest brother to Garnet Hubert (Joan). Predeceased by brothers Earl Hubert, Roy Hubert, Ronald Hubert, and by sister Marlyn Bucholtz. Dear brother-in-law to Junior Waito (Marilyn), David Waito (Debbie), and sister-in-law Yvonne Waito and Sandra Waito. Predeceased by brother-in-law Gordie Waito, Ricky Waito, Ralph Waito, and Jim (Joan) Adams. Much loved uncle to many nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2023, at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew Street, Pembroke, from 2 to 4:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, 454 Miller Street, Pembroke, on Friday, November 10, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. Interment following the service at Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
