VANDERWAL, Raymond (Riemer) – passed away peacefully at Marianhill, on Monday, November 7, 2022, at the age of 90 years.

Raymond Vanderwal of Pembroke, beloved husband of the late Coba Vanderwal (nee Rook). Loving father of John Vanderwal, St-Thomas, Ontario; Corwin Vanderwal (Lisa), West Chezzetcook, Nova-Scotia & Jennifer Lapping (Peter), Deep-River, Ontario and the late Teresa Duval (Vanderwal). Cherished grandfather of Cheyenne, Shawnee, Skye & Jamie. Son of the late Jan & Gretje Vanderwal (nee Stielstra). Missed by many nieces and nephews both here and in the Netherlands and also by extended family of Jan & Wilma Welink of Tofield, Alberta and their children Megan, Ryan & Thomas.

Visitation at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke, on Friday, November 11, 2022 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service at Zion Christian Reformed Church, 152 Drive-In Road, Pembroke, on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. Interment in Knox Cemetery, Jarvis, Ontario on Sunday, November 13, 2022.
