DOUGHERTY, Rae M. Peacefully in Miramichi Lodge, Pembroke on Thursday, February 22nd, 2007 at the age of 84 years. Rae Dougherty (nee Scott), dearly loved mother of Sheila (Wilson) Brown (husband Ken), Pembroke. Grandmother to Jeffrey Brown (wife Kelly Zadow), Pembroke; and Julia Brown (husband Peter Birney), Pembroke. Daughter of the late Herbert and Jessie Scott (nee Wilcox); and sister of Richard Scott (wife Lois), Pembroke. Predeceased by brother Hector Scott. Wife of the late Morris K. Wilson, former wife of Ross Dougherty, and sister-in-law of Helen Gervan. Step-mother to Colleen Lambert (Jack), Brantford; Dave Dougherty (Peggy), Elora; and Mervyn Dougherty (Jane), Pembroke; and step-grandmother to Lisa (Jay), Shannon (Mark), Kilby (Jim), Dana (Kerry); Jennifer (Bic), Shawn (Lisa) and Mark. Great-grandmother to Sierra Birney; Matthew and Erin Brown; and step-great grandmother to Taylor, Kaylyn, Macklin, Avin, Charlotte, and Carson. Aunt Rae will be missed by her nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held in Calvin United Church on Sunday, February 25th at 2 pm. Spring interment in the Beachburg Union Cemetery.
