HAMPEL, Phyllis - peacefully at Miramichi Lodge, Pembroke on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 in her 84th year. Phyllis Hampel (nee Risto) of Pembroke, wife of the late Mel Hampel. Dear mother of Terry (Shirley), Petawawa; Grant (Valerie), Waterville NS; Blake (Marilyn), Pembroke; and Tracy (Jamie), Williamsburg. Predeceased by son Roger. Gramma to Erin; and Colin, Courtney & Charissa. Daughter of the late Verner and Clara Risto (nee Sack) and step-daughter of the late Helen Risto (nee Lance). Sister of Kathryn Purvis (late Gordon), Pembroke. Sister-in-law to Carmen Hampel (late Wallace), Brockville. Step-sister to Wayne Hampel, Pembroke. Phyllis will be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews and a host of true friends. Visitation is at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Thursday, April 3, 2014 from 7-9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church, Pembroke on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Spring Interment in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Pembroke.
