CARROLL, Phyllis (Member of The Royal Canadian Legion Br.517) Peacefully, at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at the age of 76. Phyllis Carroll (nee Gilders) of Petawawa, beloved wife of the late D'Arcy Carroll. Dear mother to D'Arcy (Peggy), Jasper AB; Tim (Jayne), Petawawa; and Patricia Powell (Jim), Petawawa. Loving grandmother to Allan (Teneille) and Kevin. Great-grandmother to Eric, Ryker, Zayden and Daxon. Sister to Patricia Stewart (Charles), Delta BC and William Gilders, Saskatoon SK. Predeceased by her parents Eric and Irene Gilders (nee Mann), son-in-law Ken and brother Cyril. Survived by several nieces and nephews and by her dear aunt Clarice Bell, Creston BC. Visitation at the MALCOLM, DEAVITT & BINHAMMER Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew Street, Pembroke, on Tuesday from 2-4:00 & 7-9:00 P.M. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 in St. John's Lutheran Church, Petawawa, at 11:00 A.M. Members of The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 517 are requested to assemble at the funeral home for a Legion Service on Tuesday at 7:30 P.M.
