Oscar Ruhnke, resident of Pinewood Retirement Home & formerly Trafalgar Rd., Pembroke husband of the late Myrtle Ruhnke (nee Mielke). Dear father of Ron Ruhnke (wife Audrey), Pembroke; and David Ruhnke (wife Carmen), Pembroke. Predeceased by son Burt Ruhnke. Grandfather to Jeff Ruhnke, Pembroke; Randy Ruhnke (wife Brenda), Ashdad; Byron Ruhnke (wife Theresa), Gatineau, QC; Dean Ruhnke, Toronto; and great-grandfather to Haley & Brandy; Thomas & Amanda. Son of the late Charles & Mary Ruhnke (nee Nitschke). Brother of Marie Lubitz (late Lorne), Pembroke; Millie Schiemann (late Charlie), Pembroke; and Earl Ruhnke (wife Anita), Deep River. Predeceased by Ernest Ruhnke (late Ida) & Edwin Ruhnke (late Irene). Resting at the MALCOLM, DEAVITT AND BINHAMMER Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Saturday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.; and Sunday from 10-12 pm.
