MAVES, Orval Robert Passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Wednesday evening, September 20, 2006 at the age of 78 years. Orval Maves of Pembroke beloved husband of Freda Maves (nee Burgess). Dear father to Katherine Schulmeister (husband Dennis), Edmonton; and Robert Maves (wife Kim), Lindsay. Dearly loved grandfather to Brooks, Channel and Celina; and Trista (husband Chris), Adey (husband Chris), Cherie, Jared, Nikita, and Keanna. Great-grandfather of Micah. Brother to Wilbert Maves (wife Gwen); Jean Nagora (late husband Kenneth); Gerald Maves (wife Shirley), and Burton Maves (wife Sandra). Son of the late Edward and Edith Maves (nee Beaudry). Survived by his many nieces and nephews. Resting at the Malcolm Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Friday from 7 - 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 2 - 4:00 and 7 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Pembroke Pentecoastal Tabernacle on Sunday, September 24th, 2006 at 2:30 p.m. Interment at the Pembroke Pentecostal Cemetery, Pembroke.
