Orma Wright

WRIGHT, Janet Orma – passed away peacefully at Marianhill, with her family by her side on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 in her 86th year.

Orma Wright (nee Carnegie) of Pembroke, wife of the late Ellwood Wright.  Dear mother of Katherine Badcock (David), Perth; Gerald Wright (Julie), B.C.; Malcolm Wright, Alberta; Randall Wright, Alberta; Kevin Wright (Joanne), Pembroke; and predeceased by daughter Karen Wright.  Grandmother to 8 grandchildren & 13 great-grandchildren.  Sister of Ruth Zadow (Des) & Don Carnegie (Fyrne); and predeceased by 2 sisters & 4 brothers.  Daughter of the late John and Violet Carnegie (nee Wilson).  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Special thank-you to the staff at Riverview Heights for their care over the last two years.

Visitation at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Monday, June 11, 2018 from 2 to 4:00 and 7 to 9:00 p.m.  Funeral Service will be held at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Pembroke on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m.  Interment in St. Stephen’s Anglican Cemetery, Micksburg.  (As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.)  Online condolences and donations are available at www.mdbfuneralhome.com.
