McMULLEN, NORRIS ANDREW LLOYD Passed away in hospital, Pembroke on Saturday, May 13, 2006 at the age of 89 years. Norris McMullen of Westmeath, predeceased by his wife and best friend Bertha May McMullen (nee Desjardins). Dear father of Vida Brame, Burnaby, B.C.; and Gordon McMullen (Lynn), Westmeath. Pappy to Bradley McMullen (Lianne), Cold Lake, Alberta; Brent McMullen (Cynthia), Renfrew; Benji McMullen (Jessica), Westmeath; Kyle Laporte (Tara), Westmeath; and Brittany McMullen, Westmeath. Great pappy to Kiersten McMullen, Renfrew. Son of the late James and Caro Jane McMullen (nee Poupore). Survived by sisters Gertrude D'Agostini (Dino), Fort Frances; Fosty Boucher (Lawrence Sheedy), Pembroke; Ethel Hache (Maynard), Pembroke. Brother-in-law of Willard Gervais, Nellie Bromley, Jean Timm, Evelyn Timm, Clinton Desjardins (Marilyn), Emma Desjardins, Isabel White and Noreen Desjardins. Predeceased by brother Stanley and sister Edith as well as many sisters and brothers-in-law Dolly McMullen (Desjardins), Esther and Willard McMullen, Alice and Hugh Desjardins, Clayton Desjardins, Reuben Desjardins, Bob Bromley, Willard White, Bert Timm and Harold Timm. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Norris will also be sadly missed by his special friend and caregiver Dianne Norris and her husband David. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, l4l Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.; and Tuesday from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Service in St. Andrew's United Church, Westmeath on Tuesday at 2 p.m. Interment in Westmeath Union Cemetery.
